About our group:

Seagate Customer Success (CS) group is seeking an experienced engineering qualification manager. The CS group is responsible for best-in-class customer service, qualification of new products, and quality metrics for cloud customers. We work closely with Sales, factories, and design centers to ensure all engineering requirements and quality metrics are met for every product.

About the role - you will:
  • Proactively network with customers to grow professional relationships and enhance customer experience.
  • Manage customer requirements and advocate for customers with Product Line Management and the Core team.
  • Engage with Design Center teams to execute product qualifications timely.
  • Stage and manage builds to enable qualification success.
  • Handle technical issues on large CSP accounts.
  • Manage joint engineering engagement projects with customers.
  • Ensure new product qualifications meet schedules and are timely to market.
  • Collaborate with factories to meet quality metrics for customer qualification requirements.
About you:
  • Knowledge of product development cycle and validation processes of storage device products.
  • Knowledge of storage devices for Enterprise Server, Storage, and NAS applications.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to manage, influence, and drive solutions internally and externally.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Organized, team-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, with a strong willingness to learn and grow.
Your experience includes:
  • Understanding of how HDDs work and their use in CSP data centers.
  • Project management experience with storage device or system products.
  • At least 7 years of experience managing large customer accounts.
  • Experience creating and managing 8Ds for issue resolution.
  • Leading cross-functional teams in engineering issue resolution.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 7+ years of experience.
Location:

This position can be remote.

Our Longmont campus offers views of the Rocky Mountains, on-site cafeteria, fitness center, and employee resource groups. Our Shakopee campus is near Minneapolis with outdoor spaces, fitness facilities, and on-site café. The estimated base wage range is $66.04-$95.25/hr, depending on location, skills, experience, and education.
