Strength in Trust
OneTrust’s mission is to enable innovation through the responsible use of data and AI. We believe that ensuring data is trusted shouldn’t slow teams down - it should accelerate what’s possible. This led us to develop the first technology platform for responsible data use in 2016. Today, with AI representing the latest and most impactful expansion of data yet, OneTrust is once again redefining what responsible innovation looks like.
OneTrust, the AI‑Ready Governance Platform™, unifies regulatory intelligence, automation, and connected governance workflows so businesses can continue to move at the speed of AI while ensuring good governance to prevent data misuse at scale. Trusted by thousands of organizations worldwide, OneTrust is shaping the future where trusted data becomes a transformative force for business and society.
The Challenge
We're looking for a Specialist Solutions Architect with deep knowledge of AI Governance Solutions, Responsible AI, and Enterprise AI Adoption to join our R&D, Customer Engineering team, and lead the AI Governance Initiatives within the Design Partner Program. This is a highly strategic customer-facing role responsible for partnering with some of OneTrust's most innovative and influential customers as they operationalize AI Governance at enterprise scale.
The Specialist Solutions Architect serves as the bridge between Customers, Product Management, Engineering, and Executive Leadership. You will work directly with AI leaders, governance teams, privacy officers, legal stakeholders, and engineering organizations to understand emerging AI risks, adoption barriers, governance requirements, and business objectives. Your mission is to transform these insights into product strategy, platform capabilities, and roadmap investments that shape the future of OneTrust's AI Governance portfolio.
Success in this role means helping customers govern AI with confidence while accelerating market adoption, influencing product direction, and ensuring OneTrust remains the trusted platform for responsible AI at enterprise scale.
Your Mission
- Define the AI Governance solution vision by translating strategic customer requirements, emerging regulations, and market needs into scalable platform capabilities, architectural patterns, and roadmap priorities.
- Serve as the primary technical and domain advisor for Design Partner customers, leading discovery sessions, architecture workshops, solution reviews, and technical assessments focused on AI governance, responsible AI, and enterprise AI adoption.
- Bridge customer needs with Product Management, Engineering, and Architecture by turning complex business objectives, governance requirements, and implementation gaps into reusable product investments and reference solutions.
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient solution patterns across AI inventories, AI assessments, AI risk management, governance workflows, model oversight, policy management, and compliance operations.
- Define integration and implementation approaches including APIs, data flows, governance controls, identity considerations, and operational workflows that enable customers to connect OneTrust into their broader enterprise ecosystem.
- Influence product and engineering direction through customer insight, technical feasibility analysis, and hands‑on solution design that improves adoption, implementation speed, product quality, and long‑term platform reuse.
- Act as the voice of the customer in roadmap planning, executive reviews, and cross‑functional prioritization, ensuring high‑value customer challenges become differentiated platform capabilities.
- Drive measurable customer outcomes tied to AI governance maturity, compliance readiness, risk reduction, operational efficiency, customer adoption, and long‑term expansion opportunities.
- Establish best practices, reference architectures, and reusable implementation patterns that help internal teams and strategic customers operationalize responsible AI at enterprise scale.
- Represent OneTrust as a thought leader on AI governance frameworks, responsible AI principles, and enterprise solution design through strategic customer engagements, workshops, and field enablement.
You are
- A strategic and customer-facing technical leader who can operate at the intersection of product strategy, solution architecture, and AI governance domain expertise.
- Comfortable engaging with executives, architects, engineers, product leaders, legal stakeholders, privacy teams, and governance leaders.
- Deeply technical while able to translate architectural tradeoffs and governance complexity into clear business outcomes.
- A systems thinker who designs for scalability, reuse, security, resilience, and long‑term platform maintainability.
- Strong in ambiguity and able to balance immediate customer needs with broader platform strategy.
- Customer‑obsessed and motivated by turning enterprise AI governance challenges into practical, high‑impact solutions.
- Influential without direct authority, with strong judgment, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional leadership skills.
- Passionate about responsible AI, emerging AI regulations, and helping customers adopt AI with trust and control.
- Execution‑oriented, collaborative, and accountable, with the ability to move from strategy to detailed solution design.
- Energized by creating repeatable patterns, improving product direction, and delivering measurable business impact across multiple strategic engagements.
Your Experience Includes
- 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, solutions consulting, technical product leadership, or strategic customer‑facing roles in enterprise SaaS environments.
- Significant experience in AI Governance, Responsible AI, AI Risk Management, Privacy, Security, Compliance, Data Governance, or related governance domains.
- Proven experience working directly with enterprise customers to define requirements, lead discovery, shape technical strategy, and drive adoption.
- Demonstrated ability to translate regulatory requirements, governance frameworks, and customer needs into scalable product capabilities and operational workflows.
- Experience designing enterprise‑scale SaaS solutions, including APIs, integrations, data models, architecture patterns, and secure implementation approaches.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, evaluation frameworks, and governance considerations associated with enterprise AI deployments.
- Experience partnering across Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, UX, Legal, Privacy, Security, and Go‑To‑Market teams to influence roadmap and execution.
- Strong executive communication, workshop facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence product strategy through customer insights, technical analysis, market understanding, and business impact assessment.
- Experience creating reference architectures, reusable implementation patterns, best practices, or solution standards that improve scalability and customer outcomes.
- Familiarity with AI regulations and frameworks such as the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, model governance frameworks, and responsible AI principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; advanced certifications or credentials in AI governance, privacy, security, or architecture are a plus.
