Job summary

Runway is seeking a passionate Product Designer to shape the tools of the future. You will partner with product, engineering, and research to influence Runway’s design direction and product experience.

You should be a self‑starter with experience shipping real products and collaborating across teams to deliver high‑quality UI and interactions. This role emphasizes iteration and a design‑centric culture.

Qualifications

• Experience designing flows, prototypes and high‑fidelity UI’s for web products.
• Understanding of modern web technologies, web interactions, and usability standards.
• Experience delivering and iterating product features and close collaboration with engineering teams.
• Ability and flexibility to iterate fast and often.
• Passion for working with small teams, establishing a design culture, and creating a design‑centric process within the company.
• Knowledge and understanding of the creative tool space.
• Bonus points if you have experience with creating functional prototypes using AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.).
• At Runway, it’s always a bonus if you have artistic and creative potential (video/audio editing, icon/typography design, Illustration, etc.).
