Your Mission : As our Senior Staff Equipment Maintenance Engineer in San Jose, CA, reporting to the R&D Engineering Manager, you will ensure safety by using correct tools and PPE, establish maintenance guidelines, and support R&D and Lab operations to meet company goals.

Make Your Mark : How You Will Drive Change :

• Be certified on all machines and processes in your area.
• Manage yield, MTTR, MTBA, and equipment availability.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on Lab equipment.
• Support Lab Operations to ensure equipment operates at target levels.
• Operate equipment according to defined parameters.
• Prepare shift reports.
• Evaluate equipment for manufacturing suitability.
• Oversee installation, modification, and maintenance of Lab equipment.
• Increase uptime and reduce equipment issues.
• Provide onsite technical support during equipment downtime, including overtime and weekends.
• Comply with EHS and Quality standards and regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years in equipment engineering and maintenance.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of processes/tools like wet benches, laser processing, PVD, CVD, diffusion, metallization, lithography, cell testing, laminators, environmental chambers, etc.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Adherence to EHS and Quality standards and regulations.

It would be Nice if You Have :

• Knowledge of Engineering and SPC tools (FMEA, Tool Lockdown, etc.).

The US base salary range for this position is $152,000-$190,000 + benefits. Compensation varies based on qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
