Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems Sector is searching for Sr. Staff Engineer Software to join our Research and Advanced Design (R&AD) Division in support of R&D activities spanning multiple sectors and programs, onsite in Melbourne, FL.
Must be able to apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts. Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex technical problems and provide solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious. Works under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range goals and objective and self-initiate assignment when required. Determine and pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired results. You work will be checked through consultation and agreement with others rather than by formal review of superior. You will be expected to develop advanced technological ideas and guide their development into a final product and demonstration. In this role, you may be selected to serve as organization spokesperson on advanced projects and/or programs and act as an advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.
BMC2 Chief Architect within RAD. Subject Matter Expert for driving development of new capabilities tying to customer needs across NGAS portfolio (e.g., LRKC, C-LRKC, and Golden Dome etc.). Being the \"up and out\" for interfacing with customers, cross sector partnership creating new opportunities, and ensuring products are meeting customer needs. Lead the technical strategy for establishing software licensing and sales. Responsible for leading a team to develop capability features, setting up demonstrations, building marketing material, and attending customer conferences and events. Working across NG programs of record across divisions to pull in mission needs, leveraging other's capabilities, and finding opportunities within existing NG programs. Focal point for submitting sales quotes and working RFPs technology.

Primary Level Salary Range: $166,500.00 - $249,700.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
