Job Description Summary
Responsible for leading multiple Data and Analytics Platforms initiatives, either as a project leader or internal consultant. Will work on highly complex software projects requiring in-depth domain knowledge or expertise in two or more specialized architecture areas.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate domain technical and business discussions regarding future architecture directions across the product portfolio on the data consumption side.
- Drive holistic platform analytics on the consumer side to improve observability and lineage.
- Analyze, design, and develop a roadmap and implementation plan based on current versus future state within a cohesive architecture framework.
- Review and analyze architectural requirements at the domain level within the product portfolio or team.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, industry, and market trends to support project development and operational activities.
- Define and maintain KPIs for BI and analytics to measure platform adoption, customer experience, and performance.
- Implement MLOps best practices, including deployment and monitoring of AI/ML models.
- Establish end-to-end observability for data consumption services (BI & advanced analytics).
- Lead the architecture vision for data consumption services and serve as the single point for AMS data services.
- Develop and drive the implementation of a holistic EVM strategy.
- Establish governance in architecture practices, including GitOps and CI/CD.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of data consumption platforms with reusable components for various configurations, aiming to improve customer experience and platform adoption.
- Lead architecture design and implementation across teams using tools like Dataiku, Spotfire, and Starfish.
- Drive innovation through POCs with new BI & analytics tools such as Power BI.
- Leverage AWS services across platforms to enhance offerings and synergy.
Technical Skills
- Extensive experience with BI and Analytics platforms such as Spotfire, Data Virtualization (TDV), and Dataiku.
- Strong software engineering and Web applications experience.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux environments.
- Deep knowledge of data lake concepts and strong SQL and Python skills.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, including EKS, S3, and Spark for distributed processing.
- Experience automating manual processes and deep expertise in data architecture and engineering.
- Knowledge of data science concepts, data visualization, and IT process automation.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of professional experience, or an Associate’s degree with at least 8 years, or a High School Diploma with at least 10 years of experience. Minimum 5 years in BI/ML and software engineering, including 5 years with AWS. Military experience is considered equivalent.

Pay Range & Benefits
The annual base pay range is $127,900 to $213,200, with potential bonuses. GE Aerospace offers comprehensive benefits, including health, retirement, tuition, and parental support programs.
