Job Description Summary

Responsible for multiple Data and Analytics Platforms initiatives as a project leader or internal consultant. Will work on highly complex software projects requiring in-depth domain knowledge or expertise in two or more specialized architecture areas.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Lead and coordinate domain technical and business discussions related to future architecture direction across the product portfolio or line on the data consumption side.
2. Drive holistic platform analytics on the consumer side to improve observability and lineage.
3. Analyze, design, and develop a roadmap and implementation plan based on current versus future state within a cohesive architecture framework.
4. Review and analyze architectural requirements at the domain level within the product portfolio or team.
5. Research and evaluate emerging technologies, industry, and market trends to support project development and operational activities.
6. Define and maintain KPIs for BI and analytics to measure platform adoption, customer experience, and performance.
7. Implement MLOps best practices for deployment and monitoring of AI/ML models.
8. Establish end-to-end observability for data consumption services (BI & advanced analytics).
9. Lead the architecture vision for data consumption services and act as the single point for AMS services in this domain.
10. Develop and drive the implementation of a holistic EVM strategy.
11. Establish governance in architecture practices, including GitOps & CI/CD.
12. Contribute to the development and enhancement of data consumption platforms with reusable components for various configurations, improving customer experience and platform adoption.
13. Lead architecture design and implementation across multiple teams, including Dataiku, Spotfire, and Starfish.
14. Drive new proofs of concept in BI & Analytics with tools like Power BI.
15. Leverage AWS services across platforms to enhance offerings and foster synergy.

Technical Skills

• Extensive experience with BI and analytics platforms such as Spotfire, TDV, Dataiku.
• Strong software engineering and web application development skills.
• Proficiency in Windows & Linux environments.
• Deep knowledge of data lake concepts, SQL, Python, AWS (especially EKS, S3), Spark, and distributed processing.
• Experience automating manual processes and designing data architecture and engineering solutions.
• Familiarity with data science concepts, data visualization, and IT process automation.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent qualifications (Associates degree with 8 years, High School Diploma with 10 years). At least 5 years in BI/ML, software engineering, and AWS.
