Job Description Summary

Responsible for leading multiple Data and Analytics Platforms initiatives, either as a project leader or internal consultant. Will work on complex software projects requiring in-depth domain knowledge across multiple architecture areas.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Lead and coordinate technical and business discussions related to future architecture directions across the product portfolio on data consumption.
2. Drive holistic platform analytics on the consumer side to improve observability and lineage.
3. Analyze, design, and develop a roadmap and implementation plan based on current and future states within a cohesive architecture framework.
4. Review and develop architectural requirements at the domain level within the product portfolio or team.
5. Research and evaluate emerging technologies, industry, and market trends to support project development and operational activities.
6. Define and maintain KPIs for BI and analytics to measure platform adoption, customer experience, and performance.
7. Implement MLOps best practices, including deployment and monitoring of AI/ML models.
8. Establish end-to-end observability for data consumption services (BI & Advanced Analytics).
9. Lead the architecture vision for data consumption services and serve as the single point for AMS services on this side.
10. Develop holistic EVM strategies and drive their implementation.
11. Establish governance practices in architecture, including GitOps and CI/CD.
12. Contribute to the development and enhancement of data consumption platforms with reusable components, improving customer experience and platform adoption.
13. Lead architecture design and implementation across teams utilizing tools like Dataiku, Spotfire, and Starfish.
14. Drive new POCs in BI & Analytics with tools such as Power BI.
15. Leverage AWS services across platforms to enhance offerings and drive synergy.

Technical Skills

• Extensive experience with BI and Analytics platforms like Spotfire, Data Virtualization (TDV), and Dataiku.
• Strong software engineering and web application experience.
• Proficiency in Windows & Linux environments.
• Deep knowledge of data lake concepts, SQL, Python, AWS EKS, Spark, AWS S3.
• Experience automating manual processes and data architecture.
• Knowledge of data science concepts, data visualization, and IT process automation.
• Ability to teach technical concepts to non-technical audiences and communicate effectively across organizational levels.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of professional experience, or equivalent experience with an Associate degree (8 years) or High School diploma (10 years). Minimum 5 years in BI/ML, software engineering, and AWS.
