Job summary

SFE is seeking a System Reliability Engineer (SRE) to strengthen our AWS-based infrastructure. You will build and refine monitoring dashboards (Grafana/Splunk), automate alerts, and ensure high availability of critical services.

You will analyze root causes and work with cross-functional teams to implement durable mitigations. The role requires experience with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience building monitoring dashboards in Grafana and Splunk.
• Proficient in proactive monitoring dashboard creation.
• Ability to automate alerts and daemon processes.
• Strong root cause analysis and communication skills.
• Experience with AWS services (Lambda, SNS, SQS).
• Familiar with deployment services, CI/CD pipelines, version control and monitoring tools.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of IaC/tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, GitLab, Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Ensure site/app availability, performance and scalability across environments.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Experience in building monitoring dashboards in Grafana, Splunk, cloud monitoring, etc.
• Create dashboards for proactive monitoring.
• Automate alerts, notifications, and daemon processes.
• Good root cause analysis and communication skills.
• Experience in AWS services such as Lambda, SNS, and SQS.
• Experience with deployment services, CI/CD pipelines, version control tools, and monitoring tools.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, GitLab, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
