Job summary

CenterWell is seeking a Sr. Specialty Pharmacy Sales Executive to grow our specialty pharmacy orders across a defined territory. You will engage physician offices, educate staff, and become a trusted resource on Humana pharmacy benefits while aligning with CenterWell and Humana goals.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience with documented success of meeting/exceeding goals.
• Experience analyzing sales data and market trends to make effective decisions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications, SharePoint, Teams and ability to resolve general technical issues within a remote environment.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tool.
• Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of experience in sales and marketing.
• Specialty Pharmacy or healthcare experience preferred.

The Sr. Specialty Pharmacy Sales Executive will report to the Market Director and will use targeted geographic analysis and engages with Physician offices to influence key decision makers to route patients’ specialty drug prescriptions to CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy for fulfillment. In this role, you will focus on increasing orders to CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy, resulting in increased prescriptions and revenue.

Additional information

• Workstyle: Field - This is a field position where employees perform their core duties at non-company locations, such as providing services at business partner facilities or prospects’ and members’ homes.
• Location: Must be within reasonable daily commuting distance of Chicago Illinois
• Travel Required: Must be comfortable with being in the field 5 days/week within territory lines, and occasional overnight travel.
  • Up to 50%, 5 days/week within an assigned territory line visiting about 8-10 office facilities daily, with occasional overnight travel.
  • Additional travel may include attendance at offsite team engagement meetings, which may require air travel and overnight stays.
  • Company vehicle is provided.
• Driving Record: This role is part of Humana’s Fleet Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to take possession of a company fleet vehicle and have a valid state driver’s license.We will evaluate your driving record as part of a third-party background check and certain types or combinations of infractions may affect your eligibility for this position.
• Typical Workdays & Hours: Monday – Friday; Central Standard Time (CST).

Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana’s offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The range below reflects a good faith estimate of total compensation for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. This compensation package includes both base pay and targeted commission pay. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location. Actual earnings will vary based on individual performance, with the base salary and commission structure aligned with company policies and applicable pay transparency requirements.
