L3Harris Technologies has an opening for a Senior Specialist, Systems Engineer on 2nd shift in Wilmington, MA. You will help design, develop, integrate, test, and deliver space-based remote sensing systems and lead cross-functional teams to meet program milestones.

The role requires 4+ years in systems engineering, 2+ years in modeling and simulation, and strong communication skills. A US Government Top Secret clearance is preferred or can be pursued; relocation assistance and a sign-on bonus up

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, CS, or related field with 6+ years of experience; or graduate degree with 4+ years; or 10+ years without degree.
• 4+ years of experience with systems engineering principles and practices.
• 2+ years experience with systems modeling and simulation.
• Professional experience developing products for space-based applications.
• Active U.S. Security Clearance (preferred).

L3Harris Technologies has an immediate opening for a Senior Specialist, Systems Engineer on 2nd shift in Wilmington, MA. The ideal candidate for this position will be proficient in all aspects of the systems engineering process, will have direct and significant experience designing and testing complex systems, and will be comfortable coordinating teams of technical personnel. In this role you will help design, develop, integrate, test, and deliver critical space-based remote sensing systems to our customers.

  Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

• 4+ years of experience with systems engineering principles and practices

• 2+ years experience with systems modeling and simulation

• Professional experience developing products for space-based applications

  Preferred Additional Skills:

• Active U.S. Security Clearance

• Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or similar certification.

• Experience with SysML (Systems Modeling Language).

• Prior experience in the aerospace or defense industry.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lead complex technical projects and teams

  In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $106,500.00 - $197,500.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays.
