What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Partner with Product Owners to ensure user stories are “sprint ready” through effective backlog grooming and refinement
- Use data-driven insights to forecast team velocity and support the right-sizing of sprint goals
- Cultivate a collaborative environment where team members feel trusted, heard, and valued
- Proactively identify and resolve external dependencies that may hinder the team’s ability to achieve sprint goals
- Mentor, coach, and motivate team members to encourage accountability and continuous improvement
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex instructions
- Proven ability to lead agile teams in fast-paced environments and foster team cohesion
- Deep understanding of agile software development values, principles, and practices
- Solid knowledge of at least two agile practices such as User Stories, Continuous Integration, or DevOps
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Active certification in at least two of the following: Professional Scrum Master II (PSM II), Certified Scrum Professional - SM (CSP-SM), Certified Team Coach (CTC), PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner), or ICP-ATF (ICAgile Team Facilitator)
