We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Cost Control Analyst to join our team within KBR’s Defense & Technology Solutions Business Unit (DTS). DTS is part of KBR Mission Technology Solutions, which combines mission expertise with advanced digital technologies to address global challenges. KBR Mission Technology Solutions is a trusted partner in national security, serving customers across space, land, air, and sea, delivering innovative solutions in digital engineering, rapid prototyping, mission operations, data analytics, AI, and secure logistics.

Position Description

The Sr. Specialist I, Project Controls, will be responsible for managing project budgets, forecasts, and analysis, supporting program planning, and maintaining financial controls. Key responsibilities include:

1. Demonstrate knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting, including EAC, variance, and trend analysis.
2. Support development of program plans and estimates, establish contract baseline budgets, plan milestones, and maintain financial records.
3. Review project costs, estimate future costs, and perform risk analysis.
4. Analyze funding requirements, track available funding, and provide accurate status reports.
5. Validate project costs and performance data.
6. Maintain Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and charge number control.
7. Reconcile costs and performance data regularly.
8. Import and reconcile budgets and forecasts.
9. Maintain and update T&M rate tables.
10. Perform complex accounting tasks, including transaction processing and report generation.
11. Oversee subcontractor expenditures and analyze cost trends.
12. Develop presentations and metrics for stakeholders.
13. Support process improvements and training initiatives.
14. Assist with contract proposals and other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field with 5 years of applicable experience.
• Proficient in Deltek CostPoint and COGNOS/BI software.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle conflicting priorities.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Cobra experience is a plus.
• Secret Clearance is a plus but not required.

Compensation

$94,050 - $141,075, based on experience and internal parity.
