Overview

What Data Analytics brings to Cardinal Health: The Data & Analytics Function oversees the analytics life-cycle in order to identify, analyze and present relevant insights that drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities to achieve a competitive advantage. This function manages analytic data platforms, the access, design and implementation of reporting/business intelligence solutions, and the application of advanced quantitative modeling. Data Analytics applies business process knowledge and data analytics to develop, recommend and communicate timely, accurate, relevant and actionable insights to support business decisions and objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Leverage knowledge of business and data to participate in creation of dashboards/interactive reporting tools
  • Use analytical skills to identify trends which should be flagged for stakeholder action
  • Maintenance of existing reporting structures (accuracy validation, data source adjustments, etc)
  • Assist in development of presentations for monthly/quarterly reviews
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years work experience in data analytics preferred
  • Experience in using either or all Tableau, SQL, and Python, preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel, preferred
  • Strong communication skills (written and interpersonal)
  • Previous experience working within medical device industry preferred
  • Understand business rules and data flow to support monthly/ad hoc reporting
