Job summary

AWS Global Sales is seeking a Solutions Architect III to partner with fast-growing digital native ecommerce companies, guiding cloud adoption and AI transformations. You will design scalable cloud architectures that leverage data analytics, ML/AI, and modern data platforms to enable growth and better customer experiences.

You will lead technical sessions, review architectures, and provide strategic guidance to help customers adopt AI capabilities, while collaborating with AWS teams and partners

Qualifications

• Design and architect end-to-end cloud solutions for digital native ecommerce customers, leveraging data analytics, AI/ML workloads, and application modernization.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions and architecture design reviews with customer engineering teams to ensure secure, reliable, high-performance, cost-optimized cloud solutions.

• Collaborate with AWS service teams, Professional Services and partners to prototype innovative solutions and remove blockers for customer implementations.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Global Sales is seeking a Solutions Architect III to join our Digital Native team, working with innovative ecommerce enterprises navigating complex cloud adoption and AI transformation journeys.

In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to fast-growing digital commerce companies, representing the full breadth of AWS services. You will architect scalable, resilient cloud solutions that enable customers to leverage data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to enhance customer experiences, optimize operations, and accelerate growth. Key job responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end cloud solutions for digital native ecommerce customers, addressing complex technical challenges in data platforms, analytics pipelines, AI/ML workloads, and application modernization
• Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture design reviews, and Well-Architected Reviews with customer engineering teams to ensure solutions follow cloud best practices for security, reliability, performance, and cost optimization
• Drive customer success by providing strategic technical guidance on AI adoption, helping customers implement machine learning models, generative AI capabilities, and data-driven personalization to enhance their customer experiences and business outcomes
• Collaborate with AWS service teams, Professional Services, and partner organizations to deliver innovative solutions, prototype new approaches, and remove technical blockers for customer implementations
• Create and share technical thought leadership through reference architectures, blog posts, workshops, and presentations that enable broader adoption of AWS solutions in the ecommerce industry

A day in the life

You will engage deeply with customer engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges focused on data and AI. Your days include whiteboarding scalable architecture designs, conducting technical deep dives on AWS AI services, reviewing customer implementations for optimization opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to prototype innovative solutions. You will balance strategic conversations about cloud transformation roadmaps with hands-on technical work, such as designing data lake architectures or architecting real-time ML inference pipelines for recommendation engines.
