Job description

The Sr Solution Architect will own the technical health and integrations with Amazon DSP’s largest publishers that enable Amazon’s advertiser customers to realize the scale and performance of programmatic advertising. You will be expected to establish a vision and key priorities and success metrics for the program, make appropriate trade‑offs to optimize time to market, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal and cross‑functional partner teams. Core skill areas for this role include data collection and analytics; familiarity with industry trends including supply path optimization, SSAI, and live events; advertiser support; product requirements gathering and managing and growing the team. You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end customer experience on supply within Amazon DSP and work with stakeholders across the advertising organization, from marketing to product to finance. You will help define our future strategy and will design and implement program direction to ensure we are enabling business growth. You have excellent communication skills and judgment and are comfortable evangelizing our supply side capabilities and services with a wide range of senior business and technical leaders inside and outside Amazon.

Key job responsibilities
  • Design end‑to‑end customer solutions by understanding business objectives, clarifying technical requirements, and architecting systems that are extensible, secure, performant, and cost‑optimized.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers by building relationships with senior leaders, driving technical discussions, and influencing their longer‑term technology strategy to achieve measurable business impact.
  • Lead cross‑functional collaboration with sales, engineering, professional services, and support teams to deliver solutions that address customer needs and accelerate adoption.
  • Develop and deliver technical thought leadership content — including presentations, workshops, sample code, and reference architectures — that educates customers on best practices and emerging technologies, including generative artificial intelligence.
  • Identify gaps in products and services by gathering customer feedback, translating it into clear technical requirements, and partnering with product and engineering teams to drive improvements.
A day in the life

In this role, you’ll focus on architecting comprehensive customer solutions that balance business objectives with technical excellence. You might start your day reviewing feedback from key publisher partners, then transition into designing a new integration approach that optimizes performance and cost. You’ll facilitate technical discussions with senior stakeholders to understand their strategic priorities, then work with our engineering and product teams to translate those insights into clear requirements. Throughout the week, you’ll develop thought leadership content—such as reference architectures and best practice guides—that help customers navigate emerging technologies and industry trends like supply path optimization and server‑side ad insertion. You’ll also partner with our sales and support teams to troubleshoot complex technical challenges and identify opportunities to enhance our platform capabilities.
