Qualifications

• Develop operational strategies, execution plans, architectural blueprints, and roadmaps to heighten client maturity and resilience.

Role Overview

This organization is seeking a strategic, innovative, and experienced Senior Solutions Architect to drive the design, implementation, and operation of integrated defense solutions. The selected professional will serve as a horizontal lead supporting critical federal defensive missions and enterprise modernization initiatives. Acting as a strategic advisor, this individual will guide cross-functional teams to align tactical operations with long-term program goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and planning for expanding and enhancing defense operations service offerings and capabilities.
• Develop operational strategies, execution plans, architectural blueprints, and roadmaps to enable clients to advance their technical maturity and resilience.
• Oversee the design, prototyping, and delivery of integrated security solutions in close collaboration with federal clients and partner organizations.
• Drive the creation and validation of use cases, operational concepts, functional requirements, and technical documentation to support evolving federal initiatives.
• Identify capability gaps and propose solution improvements and integrations that increase the adoption of modernized approaches.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to capture mission needs and resolve adoption challenges.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline is preferred.

Experience:

Seven or more years of leadership experience within Security Operations Center (SOC) environments, including threat detection, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, incident response, and automated defense workflows. Additionally, five or more years of direct experience deploying cybersecurity solutions within federal government environments is required.

Technical Skills:

Proven background as a Solutions Architect supporting federal programs, with demonstrable experience developing architectural blueprints, modernization roadmaps, and integrated technical strategies. Expert-level understanding of defensive frameworks, response workflows, and orchestration tooling is essential.
