Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a senior architect with strong broadcast and media services background to design customer-obsessed solutions leveraging AWS across broadcast, streaming, and enterprise workloads.

You will partner with industry players, create enablement content, and engage with customers and events to demonstrate how AWS can accelerate monetization and asset returns.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of tech domain experience including software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• Minimum 5 years experience in broadcast and media services.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver customer-obsessed solutions leveraging AWS services across broadcast, streaming, ad tech, and enterprise workloads.
• Foster partnerships with industry players, driving thought leadership and trends.
• Create high-quality enablement content: guidance, blogs, demos, POCs, presentations.
• Engage with customers, partners, and events to educate on AWS solutions.
• Deliver communications on ad-technology/content monetization and position AWS as cloud leader for industry growth.
• Extra depth in container orchestration, hybrid networking, and media-specific AWS services is a plus.

Key job responsibilities

• Architect and deliver innovative, customer-obsessed solutions leveraging AWS services and partner offerings across broadcast, streaming, ad tech, and enterprise workloads.
• Foster strategic partnerships with key industry players, driving thought leadership and shaping industry trends.
• Create high-quality enablement content, including guidance, blogs, demos, POCs, and presentations.
• Engage with customers, partners, and industry events to inspire and educate on the transformative potential of AWS solutions.
• Deliver written and spoken communications on complex ad-technology/content monetization subjects and establish AWS as the public cloud of choice for industry organizations looking to accelerate revenue growth and improve return on assets.
• Additional depth in container orchestration, hybrid networking, and media-specific AWS services is a plus.

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• Minimum 5 years experience in broadcast and media services.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals
