Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for the Media and Entertainment space. You will educate customers, partners, and internal teams on emerging technologies, provide hands-on architectural guidance, and publish content.

Travel both domestically and internationally is expected as you deliver strategic, impactful cloud solutions. You will craft enablement materials, engage with stakeholders, and help shape monetization strategies across the M&E, games, and sports

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology domain experience (software, cloud, infra, data & analytics).
• 3+ years in design, implementation or consulting for applications/infrastructures.
• 10+ years IT development or consulting in software/Internet industries.
• 5+ years experience in broadcast and media services.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver innovative, customer-obsessed solutions leveraging AWS services and partner offerings.
• Foster strategic partnerships with key industry players, driving thought leadership and shaping industry trends.
• Create high-quality enablement content, including guidance, blogs, demos, POCs, and presentations.
• Engage with customers, partners, and industry events to educate on AWS solutions and value.
• Communicate complex ad-technology/content monetization topics to establish AWS as the cloud of choice.

Experience with Enterprise Architecture, Data/Analytics, and GenAI is required for ther role. IoT/SmartHome experience is also strongly preferred.

As a Senior Solutions Architect (SA) at AWS, you'll be responsible for educating customers, partners, and internal stakeholders on emerging technologies and solutions that are transforming the M&E, Games, and Sports industries. You'll provide hands-on architectural guidance for real-life customer projects involving various AWS services and Independent Software Vendor (ISV)/partner solutions.

In this role, you'll be a content creator, a storyteller, and a presenter, building and publishing content. You'll work with customers remotely and in person, sharing your expertise and insights. This role involves domestic and potential international travel.

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• Minimum 5 years experience in broadcast and media services.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Experience working with end user or developer communities
• Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
