About the Role:

CrowdStrike Falcon is a two-component security product consisting of a sensor installed on endpoint systems and a cloud component that aggregates telemetry and detects threats. The Sensor Platform Team develops and maintains core sensor components that interact with core OS subsystems across multiple platforms like Windows, macOS, and Linux.

As a Senior Engineer on the Sustaining and Operations (SaO) team, you will own sensor quality, troubleshoot issues, analyze telemetry, and lead projects to enhance sensor reliability and supportability. You will also provide cross-training and best practices to other sensor engineering teams.

What You'll Do:

1. Provide technical leadership in sensor platform development, supporting enterprise-grade security software.
2. Troubleshoot complex sensor issues, analyze telemetry, and lead initiatives to improve sensor reliability.
3. Support product development teams with design, implementation, and best practices.
4. Collaborate across multi-functional teams globally.

What You'll Need:

• Strong knowledge of C++ and Windows OS internals.
• Experience leading major projects with teams.
• Proficiency in Python and test frameworks.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in distributed teams.
