Overall Purpose

The Senior Software Engineer in Test (SDET) will lead test strategy, design, planning, and automation for various frameworks and tools. Responsible for ensuring quality and performance of large-scale API, web, and mobile interfaces, with a focus on enterprise test automation, CI/CD, and collaboration in a self-motivated environment.

Essential Functions

• Implement automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop automated component, integration, regression, and performance tests.
• Execute manual and automated tests, ensuring system quality prior to release.
• Report and manage defects through resolution.
• Create test artifacts like plans, cases, and reports.
• Improve testing processes continually.
• Collaborate with teams to enhance product quality.
• Mentor team members on systems, policies, and quality processes.
• Support risk management and data security efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience with test automation frameworks in Java, Ruby, Node.js, or Objective C.
• Experience with tools like GitLab, Eclipse, Bamboo, Splunk, etc.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and automated testing for APIs, web, or mobile platforms.
• Cloud experience (AWS, Kubernetes).
• Background check required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional education or experience.
• Mobile development experience (Android/iOS).
• Experience with device cloud providers and performance/load testing.
• Agile methodologies familiarity.

Physical Requirements

Office environment, primarily sedentary work requiring extensive computer use, occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 15 pounds. Must have visual acuity and dexterity for document and equipment manipulation. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Reasonable accommodations available.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary ranges vary by location: $115,000 - $135,000 in Phoenix; $120,000 - $150,000 in New York. Includes discretionary bonuses, benefits, health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, parental leave, and more. Details available on our Benefits page.
