Job summary

Early Warning Services LLC is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop, test and maintain secure software for their core payments platform. You will work with Java, Spring Boot, REST services, and modern DevOps practices, contributing across the full software lifecycle.

Hybrid role based in Phoenix, AZ with collaboration across teams in multiple cities. Strong knowledge of SQL, Docker/Kubernetes, Kafka, and CI/CD is required, along with excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Education and/ or experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years direct experience in Software Engineering or related experience.
• Proficient with Git source control and Git flow branching model.
• Spring / Spring boot framework is required.
• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices.
• Familiarity writing automated tests.

• Proficient in RESTful service design.

Physical Requirements

Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. The base pay scale for this position in:
Phoenix, AZ in USD per year is: $118,000 - $152,000.
