Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in software engineering; CPG industry experience a plus.
  • Salesforce experience and end-to-end solution delivery across CRM and related platforms.
  • Ability to apply design thinking to solve business problems with simple, elegant solutions.
  • Proven DevOps practice experience and tooling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective communicator with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product owners to understand problems and design end-to-end solutions.
  • Configure SaaS apps (e.g., Salesforce) for sales/marketing needs with standard approaches.
  • Analyze requirements and guide engineers to create standards-compliant solutions.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize software across the stack.
  • Coach and review work of other engineers and support delivery milestones.

In the role of Sr. Software Engineerworking in Milwaukee, WI (4 days a week in office),you will be part of the Information Technology team reporting to the Senior Manager, Software Engineering.This role isa great opportunityfor a very experienced technologist. This personis responsible forguiding technology work by collaborating closely with commercial leaders, product managers, and solution architects to understand technical needs and conceive effective solutions withinSalesforce andacross the technology stack at MCBC.The roleregularly workswith solution and enterprise architecture to review and set design standards; they also develop other software engineers within the team. Success in this role is to be the person that is sought out for their ability to solve business problems with technology in practical yet creative way.

What You’ll be Brewing:
  • Work closely with product owners and teams to understand their problems and business processes and use design thinking to creatively conceive end-to end solutionsthat deliver business value and enable development by the delivery team
  • Either directly or working with developers, configure Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications(e.g.,Salesforce)to meet the specific needs of sales and marketing teams. Ensure solutions are minimally customized, use standard approaches, and areoptimizedfor performance and usability
  • Conductin-depth analysis of requirements to understand desired functionality, thenguideengineersindecomposingsolutions andidentifyingdependencies to ensure end-products meet standards and requirements
  • Use full-stackprogramming skills,knowledge,and experience to troubleshootand remediatecomplex issues, including software performance and optimization
  • Escalate issues and risksin a timely mannerto keep leadership and stakeholders informed
  • Guide, coach, and review the work of other engineers on the delivery team, applying technicalexpertiseto support successful solution delivery,reinforcing best practicesthroughout the SDLC (plan,design, build, test, deploy,andmaintain).
  • Manage projects and processes for a single delivery team, navigating high complexity problems and solutions across multiple domains
  • Influence team members through technical leadership and share learnings with the broader organization
  • Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in SaaS applications, configurations, and software engineering for the sales and marketing arena
Key Ingredients:
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering OR equivalent experience
  • You have 5+years of experiencein software engineering or related discipline;experience in theConsumer PackagedGoods (CPG) industry a plus
  • You have Salesforce experience
  • You have experience building end-to-end solutions across commercial platforms including CRM, pricing and promotional management, direct-to-consumer marketing, e-commerce, and content management andsyndication.
  • You can apply methods such as design thinking to understand business problems and create simple/elegant solutions, minimizing complexity and customization
  • You have a proventrack recordof working with DevOps practices and tools
  • You have expertproficiencyin three or more programming languages and associated development tools, with the ability to rapidly learnadditionallanguages andtooling.
  • You take accountability forengineering outcomes, acting with integrity and honoring commitments.
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • You are proactive and curious, with a drive to understand systems and how they elegantly support business processes.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with comfort speaking to and challenging stakeholders at the Director and Sr. Director level
  • You can collaborate with team members and stakeholders – both technical and non-technical
  • You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.

Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings:$109,100.00–$143,200.00(posting salary range) +15%target short term incentive+$23,000on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).
