Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join a small development team building custom applications that support our distributors and customers. You’ll contribute to an agile SDLC and collaborate with architects, product owners, and analysts to deliver solutions.

Required: 5+ years of professional software development, strong C#/.NET and JavaScript (React.js or Vue.js), SQL, and experience with Azure or similar cloud platforms. EDI experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with C# / .NET and JavaScript frameworks (React.js or Vue.js).
• Experience in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• EDI knowledge and experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on design and development of applications using technologies such as .NET/React.
• Work as a member of an agile software development team.
• Enhance and support existing software applications.
• Troubleshoot problems identified by users.
• Collaborate with architects, lead engineers, product owners, and analysts to understand requirements and develop solutions.
• Mentor junior team members.
