What This Role Entails And How You’ll Contribute

Hallmark's IT team seeks an experienced Senior Technical Software Engineer to support our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical solutions, leading the development of new capabilities, and optimizing our PLM process. Collaboration with external technology partners and internal agile teams is essential to deliver top-tier solutions, maintaining Agile principles and fostering continuous improvement.

This Role Involves

• Implementing Product Lifecycle Management solutions (Flex-PLM), with knowledge of Flexconnect as a bonus.
• Developing customizations and integrations to enhance PLM functionality.
• Working with Item/Product data in the retail industry.
• Collaborating with project managers and team members for successful delivery.
• Conducting system testing and validation.
• Preparing technical documentation such as system designs, deployment plans, and user guides.
• Staying updated with latest product features and industry best practices.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of professional experience.
• Experience in systems administration, software development, or similar technical roles.
• Knowledge of software development processes, backlog management, and requirements translation.
• Experience with JavaScript, Java, JSP, HTML, and/or C# in the .NET framework.
• Experience with Middleware solutions and data interfaces between enterprise systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management applications.
• 2+ years in Agile methodologies and tools like ADO, Jira, Trello.
• Deep understanding of data relationships and system performance.
• Familiarity with testing, debugging, and issue analysis.
• Technical skills in data analytics, SQL, and software development.
• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with legacy technology modernization is a plus.
• Proactive, curious, and customer-focused mindset.

Additional Details

This position is based in Kansas City, MO, with options for hybrid work. Salary ranges from $130,000 to $150,000, considering experience and location.
