The CrowdStrike Malware Research Center (MRC) is central to Falcon’s malware detection and response capabilities. The team focuses on understanding the threat landscape and defining what Falcon should identify and prevent. The MRC also assesses our capabilities, especially our machine learning and behavioral protection, to identify gaps and improve our detection and protection strategies. Collaborating across CrowdStrike, the MRC ensures we provide the best protection against current threats.
This is a Senior Software Engineer position within the CrowdStrike MRC Platform team. The team develops tools, background services, and API-based micro-services that enhance threat analysis, detection, and identification in Falcon. These systems support other teams in Research & Development and Data Science. The engineer will coordinate with leadership, plan, and oversee project execution to improve our products, demonstrating problem-solving skills and engineering excellence.
This role requires periodic background and fingerprint checks in line with government client requirements.

In accordance with the E-Verify program, the salary range for this U.S. position is $135,000 - $215,000 annually, plus incentives, equity, and benefits. Salary is determined by experience, skills, and location.
