Job summary

Poshmark is seeking a Senior Web Engineer II to own and evolve the buyer-facing web experience, driving the Vue 2 to Vue 3 migration, and delivering performant UI across core pages. You will partner with product and design to ensure pixel-perfect, accessible interfaces and scale to millions of users.

You will mentor engineers, influence the technical roadmap, and champion best practices for browser internals, rendering performance, and modern JavaScript.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience for high-scale web apps.
• Deep understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, the Event Loop, DOM API and browser rendering.
• Experience with migrating Vue 2 apps to Vue 3 and modern frontend tooling.

• Architect Execute: Lead small engineering pods to take complex features from discovery to production-scale delivery.
• The Vue Migration: Act as a key driver in our transition from Vue 2 to Vue 3, leveraging the Composition API and modern build tools (Vite/Webpack).
• High-Performance UI: Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications with a focus on Core Web Vitals and efficient state management.
• Design Partnership: Collaborate closely with Product and Design to ensure every pixel serves the user experience. You should bring a strong "sense of taste" to everything you build.
• Technical Mentorship: Influence the technical roadmap and mentor junior/mid-level engineers through code reviews and architecture discussions.

• Migration Milestone: Successfully migrate a complex module or shared component from Vue 2 to Vue 3.
