Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
LaraBench is seeking an experienced full-stack engineer to own and evolve a high-traffic travel booking platform built with Laravel and Vue.js. You will work across the stack, implementing robust checkout flows, search capabilities and responsive UI.
You’ll collaborate with product, marketing and QA to deliver fast, reliable features, while continuously improving performance, SEO and frontend quality. Remote-friendly but primarily on-site within the US.
We are an online travel agency established in 2008, specializing in holidays to Bulgaria, with additional destinations including Greece and Turkey. We combine our travel expertise with our own digital solutions to make planning and booking a holiday simple and enjoyable. Customer satisfaction is at the heart of what we do, because we understand how much people’s time off and their time together as a family matters.
Our customers find the right hotel, compare offers and book and pay online in a few minutes. Behind that simple experience is a platform we built ourselves: booking, search, payments and back-office systems, connected to hotels and travel suppliers. Because we own the technology end to end, we can move fast, try new ideas with real customers and see the results in our numbers, often the same day.
Travel follows the seasons. Spring brings the rush for summer bookings, autumn brings campaigns such as Black Friday, and every season brings new destinations, partners and offers. The work is varied, and there is always something new to improve.
We are a small team with short decision paths; no unnecessary layers of approval, and no work lost in a backlog. Engineers sit close to the business, hear directly from colleagues who talk to customers, and help decide what to build next.
Two conversations: a technical interview, then a final discussion about the role and the team.
You will work on a high-traffic, customer-facing travel booking website where customers search, compare and book their holidays, most of them from a phone. It is a mature Laravel and Vue.js application with server-side rendering, an Elasticsearch-powered search, its own content management for landing pages and campaigns, and an integrated checkout with online payments. It generates revenue every day, so speed, clarity and reliability matter on every page.
You will join a small, hands-on engineering team, reporting to the CTO and working closely with business, marketing and QA colleagues. Teams form around problems, decisions are quick, and our workflow is AI-assisted.
You are the technical owner of the website and the go-to person for everything about it: what it looks like, how it works underneath and how it improves week after week.
You will:
