Compensation and Benefits

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000 - $375,000, plus bonus eligibility and other elements of our total rewards package. Position Details

This is a full-time position emphasizing work-life balance and flexibility. As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will:

Basic Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Angular, Kafka, NoSQL, relational databases, OpenShift, and Grafana.
• Familiarity with cloud services.
• Experience in system architecture, design, and scalability.
• Knowledge of continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, and application monitoring.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with development tools across the software lifecycle and testing frameworks like BDD.

Preferred Qualifications

• Commitment to future employment authorization without BNSF assistance.
• Experience in transportation or high-tech industries.
• Knowledge of security practices, event-driven, and microservices architectures.
