Job summary

ABCorp is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and scale its Content Platform, a cloud-native system powering secure communications, document generation, and operational workflows within the card issuance ecosystem.

This hands-on role focuses on building scalable APIs, backend orchestration, and frontend portal enhancements using React/Angular, with strong emphasis on security, compliance, and observability. Onsite in Boston, MA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering in SaaS or enterprise platforms.
• Strong backend experience building RESTful APIs and distributed services.
• Experience integrating third‑party enterprise platforms (e.g., Quadient).
• Experience designing systems for document management or content workflows.
• Familiarity with React and/or Angular for front-end development.
• Experience with Azure cloud services (AWS/GCP a plus).
• Understanding of secure access controls, audit logging, and compliance‑aware design.
• Strong CI/CD and DevOps practices; IaC familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable APIs and services that integrate with Quadient and content platforms.
• Develop backend systems for document orchestration, templating, versioning, and secure content workflows.
• Extend portal capabilities (React and/or Angular) to deliver content management and reporting experiences.
• Ensure content systems are secure‑by‑design, with RBAC and audit trails.
• Integrate content and communications workflows into card issuance and manufacturing processes.
• Improve system reliability, observability, and performance across environments.
• Collaborate with Product and UX to deliver secure, intuitive content experiences.
• Contribute to platform architecture decisions across APIs, integrations, and data flows.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to improve delivery speed and code quality.

The Content Management Platform team operates within ABCorp’s Product & Engineering organization and partners closely with Product, UX, Security, Operations, and Client Success.

• Integrating and extending the Quadient platform

The Role

ABCorp is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help design and scale our Content Platform – a cloud‑native system that integrates with Quadient and related content services to power secure communications, document generation, and operational workflows across our card issuance ecosystem.

This self‑contained, hands‑on engineering role will focus on:

• Designing and building scalable APIs and services that integrate with Quadient and other content platforms
• Developing backend systems for document orchestration, templating, versioning, and secure content workflows
• Extending portal capabilities (React and/or Angular) to deliver intuitive content management and reporting experiences
• Ensuring content systems are secure‑by‑design, with role‑based access control, audit trails, and compliance alignment
• Integrating content and communications workflows into card issuance and manufacturing processes
• Improving system reliability, observability, and performance across environments
• Collaborating with Product and UX to deliver elegant, secure, and intuitive content experiences
• Contributing to platform architecture decisions across APIs, integrations, and data flows
• Leveraging AI‑assisted development tools to improve delivery speed and code quality

Who You Are

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in SaaS or enterprise platform environments
• Strong backend experience building RESTful APIs and distributed services
• Experience integrating third‑party enterprise platforms (e.g., Quadient, CCM systems, document automation tools)
• Experience designing systems for document management, templating, or content workflows is highly valued
• Familiarity with React and/or Angular for modern web application development
• Experience working with Azure cloud services (AWS/GCP familiarity is a plus)
• Understanding of secure access controls, audit logging, and compliance‑aware system design
• Strong grasp of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and infrastructure‑as‑code
• Experience working within cross‑functional product teams alongside Product and UX
• Familiarity with regulated industries (payments, fintech, healthcare, identity) is a plus
• Comfort using modern AI‑assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Azure OpenAI, ChatGPT Enterprise, or similar platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
• Ability to work onsite in Boston, MA
