Job description

From our nation’s earliest days, ABCorp has been a trusted force in security and innovation. In 1795, the federally chartered Bank of the United States entrusted American Bank Note Company with the mission of producing counterfeit‑resistant currency for the young Republic. That legacy established ABCorp as a pioneer in secure printing and shaped our evolution into a global leader in secure manufacturing. What began with protecting America’s financial foundation now drives cutting‑edge solutions that safeguard organizations worldwide.

Today, ABCorp operates at the intersection of authentication, payments, and secure access, embracing next‑generation (including additive 3D) manufacturing to meet the demands of a digitally driven world. With more than 230 years of expertise, no one understands secure manufacturing and authentication better — or has done it longer. We maintain global reach and compliance across eight locations worldwide and are trusted by fintechs, financial institutions, healthcare companies, governments, and brands in more than 120 countries. We deliver end‑to‑end innovation through high‑security, state‑of‑the‑art facilities that incubate advancements in payments, secure access, and additive manufacturing.

The Team

The Client Experience Platform team builds the cloud‑native systems customers use to manage card programs, production workflows, content, communications, and analytics.

Design sits at the center of this platform’s evolution. As we harmonize multiple legacy capabilities into a single, cohesive experience, this role will define the interaction language, design system, and usability standards for the platform.

You will work embedded within an empowered product team alongside engineering and product leadership.

The Role

ABCorp is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of our next‑generation Client Experience Platform — the harmonized customer portal that unifies card issuance, content management, production workflows, and data analytics into a seamless, modern interface.

This is a senior, hands‑on role. You will own discovery, interaction design, visual design, and design system evolution. You will partner closely with Principal Engineers and Product leaders to shape complex, regulated workflows into intuitive, elegant, and insight‑driven experiences.

This is not a management role. It is a craft leadership role for a designer who thrives on building, prototyping, and shipping world‑class product experiences.

This role defines how customers experience ABCorp. As we unify card issuance, content management, manufacturing workflows, and analytics into a single harmonized platform, design will determine whether the platform feels fragmented – or transformative. You will shape the interface that thousands of users rely on to operate secure financial programs at scale.

This is an in‑person role based in Boston, MA.

How You’ll Make a Difference
  • Lead end‑to‑end design for a modern, multi‑tenant SaaS platform.
  • Conduct customer discovery, usability testing, and workflow research to deeply understand user needs.
  • Translate complex operational and regulated workflows into intuitive, elegant interfaces.
  • Design high‑fidelity UI and interaction systems in Figma.
  • Build and evolve a scalable design system across the platform.
  • Develop interactive prototypes to validate ideas quickly and reduce engineering ambiguity.
  • Partner closely with engineers to ensure design intent is realized in production.
  • Shape data‑driven user experiences that surface analytics, reporting, and operational insights clearly.
  • Establish UX standards for accessibility, performance, and usability.
  • Leverage modern AI‑assisted design and prototyping tools to accelerate iteration and exploration.
Who You Are
  • 7+ years of experience designing complex SaaS or enterprise platforms.
  • Demonstrated expertise in user research, workflow mapping, and customer discovery.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing modern, high‑quality UI design and interaction systems.
  • Deep expertise in Figma, including design systems, components, and prototyping.
  • Experience designing multi‑tenant SaaS platforms with complex operational workflows.
  • Ability to simplify dense, data‑heavy interfaces into clean, usable experiences.
  • Experience building and maintaining scalable design systems.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work closely with engineering partners.
  • Experience in regulated domains (fintech, payments, healthcare, identity, etc.) is a plus.
  • Fluency with modern prototyping and AI‑assisted design tools, such as Claude (including Claude Code for UI exploration), ChatGPT, Lovable, and advanced prototyping tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Human Factors, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work onsite in Boston, MA.

****Please note we are unable to offer any visa sponsorship for this position.
