Pay Range
USD $105,271.00 - USD $131,588.00 /Yr.

Overview

Due to growth we are adding a Sr. Software Engineer, Data Governance to our team!

The Sr. Software Engineer, Data Governance will help with the implementation and ongoing development of our Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud (DIC) and Collibra Data Quality & Observability platforms. This role will be responsible for the implementation of the Enterprise Data Governance Strategy of data cataloging/metadata management and data quality development within the Collibra DIC and Data Quality & Observability platforms, which will ensure trusted, high-quality data is available across Navitus.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team? • Lead the deployment, configuration, and customization of the Collibra DIC and Data Quality & Observability platforms.• Lead implementation of data governance, data catalog/metadata management and data quality rules aligned with business and compliance needs, in support of Navitus’ Enterprise Data Governance Strategy and Data Quality Framework.• Catalog internal and external data assets and systems in Collibra, leveraging Edge, Collibra connectors and APIs.• Build and enable data profiling and lineage analysis to visualize relationships, and dependencies within data entities and attributes.• Implement and maintain comprehensive Collibra operating models (supporting Navitus’ Data Governance Operating Model), domain communities, and integrations with metadata repositories to document data assets, definitions, and usage, as well as data dictionaries.• Working with data stewards and owners, design and deploy data quality rules, lineage, policies, and reporting KPI dashboards within the Collibra ecosystem, to proactively detect and resolve data issues. When custom data quality rules are needed, create the technical requirements for implementation by data quality rules developers.• Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members and function as a subject matter expert in Collibra DIC and Collibra Data Quality & Observability platforms.• Participate in, adhere to and support compliance and diversity, equity, and inclusion program objectives.• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What our team expects from you? • BA/BS with focus on business, economics, computer science, information management systems, mathematics, statistics, or equivalent work experience, required.• Collibra Ranger or Steward certification preferred.• 7+ years of demonstratable experience in firsthand implementation of data governance and data quality, supporting Enterprise Data Governance Strategies and Data Quality Frameworks required.• 7+ years of demonstratable knowledge and direct experience in Collibra DIC and Collibra Data Quality & Observability platforms required.• Strong experience implementing Collibra workflows, policies, and custom integrations (REST API, Java-based services, etc.) required.• Experience working with various databases and file storage systems (Oracle, NoSQL, etc.) required.• Experiencing working with cloud platforms such as AWS required.• Proficiency with SQL, data modeling, and understanding of enterprise data architecture required.• Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, etc.) preferred.• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, and Unix preferred.• Experience with a BI tool such as Tableau, Qlik View/Qlik Sense, SAS, Power B.I. or other Business Intelligence software and/or data visualization programs preferred.• Experience with JIRA preferred.• Knowledge of data privacy frameworks (e.g., HIPAA) preferred.• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
