Eigen Labs is a leading innovator in the blockchain space, driving EigenLayer, a platform that enhances crypto-economic security and scalability by leveraging Ethereum's trust network.

EigenDA is a decentralized, high-throughput data availability service built on Ethereum and EigenLayer, enabling scalable blockchain solutions, especially for Layer2 rollups. It allows rollups to post data securely, reducing transaction costs and increasing throughput.

This full-time position is remote or based with the Seattle team.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to design and develop backend cloud services.
• Own and deliver large features end-to-end, considering customer experience, system reliability, scalability, and metrics.
• Propose, document, and explain technical designs and solutions.
• Continuously research new concepts, ideas, and frameworks.
• Participate in discussions on technical issues, planning, and process improvements.
• Engage in code reviews, standups, and promote best engineering practices.

What You Will Bring

• BSc in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years experience in backend distributed systems.
• 1+ years experience with full lifecycle development in Go.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and microservices.
• Experience with scalable P2P networks and delivering complex software systems.
• Familiarity with blockchain concepts such as cryptography, polynomial commitments, hash functions, and multi-threaded computing.

The salary range is $187,000 to $253,000, plus benefits including tokens, equity, health coverage, remote setup stipend, flexible hours, 401(k), wellness benefits, and more. Benefits may vary for hires outside the US through EOR.
