Job summary

Ford Pro is seeking a skilled frontend engineer to design and implement high-quality UI components across platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage modern JS frameworks, and contribute to cloud-based deployments within Ford’s enterprise ecosystem.

The role emphasizes test-driven development, robust performance, and delivering seamless interfaces for commercial and fleet software solutions, with remote flexibility in the US and possible on-site needs in Southeast

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in front-end development.
• Experience with object-oriented languages such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin, Python, C#
• Experience developing web-based UI using JavaScript, React, Angular or Vue and/or TypeScript
• Familiarity with debugging tools
• CI/CD tools and pipelines such as Jenkins and Terraform

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in front‑end development
• 3+ years of experience with Object‑oriented development languages, such as but not limited to: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin, Python, C#
• Modern databases (Relational and non‑relational)
• 1+ years of experience developing and deploying to cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure
• Experience in developing web‑based UI using JavaScript, React, Angular or Vue and/or TypeScript
• Familiarity with debugging problems using appropriate tools
• Continuous integration/continuous delivery tools and pipelines, such as Jenkins and Terraform

Even better, you may have:

• Deep understanding of Object‑Oriented Design Principles
• Experience with developing and deploying to cloud platforms
• Experience with Spring/SpringBoot/Express and RESTful Web services development
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with Jira backlogs, iterations, user stories, or similar Agile Tools
• Highly effective in working with other technical specialists, Product Managers, UI/UX Designers and business partners
• Experience with user interface design
• Passion for learning and willingness to work in a pair programming environment
• Understanding of fundamental data modeling

This position is a range of salary grades 5–8.

SOUTHEAST MI RESIDENTS: This job is posted as remote unless the selected candidate lives within 50 miles of Dearborn, MI, in which case the candidate is required to be on site 1–2 days a week.
