Overview

Commercial Technologies Software Engineering develops design options, process improvements and back-end solutions for commercial technologies to maximize performance and suitability for business needs. This job family manages engineering projects and plans for commercial technologies and interfaces with product managers to develop objectives. This job family assesses product systems, identifies opportunities for process and system improvements, and develops solutions through application of engineering principles.

Responsibilities
  • Provides technical leadership for team in delivery of product capabilities and deliverables
  • Constantly demonstrates good process and practice
  • Proactively drives forward the development team to deliver of business goals and technical deliverables
  • Mentors junior members of the team
  • Works closely with product management and software product and innovation architects to define and refine requirements and product architecture
  • Is responsible for driving design and approach through Enterprise ARB and Sonexus ARB
  • Ensures compliance with necessary standards and regulations
  • Builds software for reuse and scalability
Qualifications
  • 8-12 years of experience, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Expertise in Java and .Net languages and associated tech stacks
  • Familiarity with Kafka and/or Camunda a plus

Anticipated salary range: $123,400 - $185,115
