Job summary

Foureyes is hiring a Software Engineer to build, enhance, and maintain cloud-based applications powering our platform. You’ll work across multiple stacks with Python, Java, React, or TypeScript, and leverage AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and RDS.

You will participate in the full SDLC, emphasize scalable APIs, and explore AI-assisted tooling to improve productivity. This remote role offers competitive salary and health benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of full‑stack development with NodeJS, ReactJS, Python, or Java.
• Experience building cloud-native apps on AWS (Lambda, S3, RDS).
• Proficiency with SQL databases and Git-based workflows.
• Familiarity with IaC (AWS CDK, Terraform) and observability tools (Datadog, CloudWatch).

As a Software Engineer at Foureyes, you'll build, enhance, and maintain the cloud-based applications that power our platform. We embrace AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery, improve collaboration, and raise engineering quality. Success in this role requires curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new technologies as our platform evolves.

Design, build, test, deploy, monitor, and support software across multiple products, moving comfortably between diverse technology stacks as business needs evolve.

Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including technical design, implementation, testing, code review, deployment, and production support.

Design and evolve RESTful APIs and event-driven services with a focus on scalability, security, reliability, and developer experience.

Build resilient distributed systems that prioritize performance, fault tolerance, and maintainability.

Thoroughly test your own code and review and test code written by fellow engineers to ensure end-to-end quality.

We're looking for engineers who are adaptable, collaborative, and customer-focused. Minimum 3-5 years of experience with one or more modern programming languages and frameworks such as Python, Java, React, or TypeScript.

Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS using services such as Lambda, S3, RDS, or similar.

Experience with SQL, relational databases, Git-based development workflows, and infrastructure as code using AWS CDK, Terraform, or similar tools.

Experience monitoring and troubleshooting production systems using observability platforms such as Datadog, Amazon CloudWatch, or similar tools.

Enthusiasm for AI-assisted software development and an interest in using tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar to improve engineering productivity.

Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or Amazon Bedrock Agents, is a plus.

AI-assisted development practices that help engineers focus on solving meaningful problems.

You have a strong academic record (CS degree preferred but not required with relevant experience)

You have a minimum of 3-5 years of professional full-stack development experience (6+ years for a Sr. SWE) using NodeJS, ReactJS, Python, or Java, along with proficiency in industry-standard programming languages and frameworks.

Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and RDS, and interfacing with real-time databases.
