Job summary

Inspire Brands, Inc. seeks a Sr. Software Engineer to design and develop large-scale software for its digital platforms supporting marketing and brand needs across a broad guest tech experience.

You will collaborate with design teams on modern UIs and mentor junior developers while delivering high-performance mobile and web features. The role emphasizes TypeScript expertise, REST-based services, and Agile SDLC practices to create scalable, resilient applications across multiple brands and guest

Qualifications

• Four year degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience developing React Native and mobile software.
• 4+ years delivering scalable frontend apps with Angular/React/React Native.
• 4+ years delivering scalable enterprise-scale applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, release, and scale new and existing consumer product features and mobile architecture
• Work with design teams on modern user interfaces
• Conduct quality assurance on all new code with peers
• Mentor junior app developers
• Build dynamic, low latency, responsive, real-time user interfaces
• Work with REST-based services
• Translate business and technical requirements to developers
• Monitor applications and ensure performance
• Leverage TypeScript expertise in codebases
• Apply unit testing and testing frameworks
• Operate within an Agile SDLC
• Work with Node.js

The Sr. Software Engineer will design and develop large scale enterprise-scale software and technology in support of Inspire Brands' digital platforms. Supports marketing and Brand needs across Inspire Brands to deliver interactive and innovative guest technology

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, test, release, and scale new and existing consumer product features and mobile architecture
• Experience working with design teams on modern user interfaces
• Conduct Quality assurance on all new code alongside others
• Mentor Junior app developers
• Build dynamic, low latency, responsive and real-time user interfaces
• Experience in working with REST based services
• Ability to understand and translate business & technical requirements to a team of developers
• Experience with application monitoring
• Expert with TypeScript
• Expert at unit testing / testing frameworks
• Agile SDLC experience
• Experience in Node.js
• Thorough understanding mobile applications and standards
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Ability to gather, understand and translate business & technical requirements
• Experienced in finding solutions for performance and UI limitations of React Native

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• Four year degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent work experience
• 2+years of experience developing React Native, or a combination withAndroid or IOSmobile software applications
• 4+ years of experience developing with leading front end frameworks such as Angular/React/React Native
• 4+ years of experience delivering scalable and resilient applications at large enterprise scale
