Job summary

Inspire is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to design and develop enterprise-scale software powering Inspire Brands' digital platforms. You will build and scale consumer product features, collaborating with design teams to deliver modern interfaces and resilient services.

You will mentor junior developers, own React Native components, and drive quality with unit tests, RESTful services, and agile practices across large-scale deployments in a fast-paced environment in Atlanta.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in CS or IT or equivalent.
• 2+ years with React Native mobile apps.
• 4+ years with front-end frameworks such as Angular/React/React Native.
• 4+ years delivering scalable enterprise apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, release, and scale new features for consumer apps.
• Collaborate with design teams on modern interfaces.
• Mentor junior app developers.
• Ensure quality with unit tests and code reviews.
• Work with REST-based services and Node.js backends.

Job description

The Sr. Software Engineer will design and develop large scale enterprise-scale software and technology in support of Inspire Brands' digital platforms. Supports marketing and Brand needs across Inspire Brands to deliver interactive and innovative guest technology.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, release, and scale new and existing consumer product features and mobile architecture
• Experience working with design teams on modern user interfaces
• Conduct Quality assurance on all new code alongside others
• Mentor Junior app developers
• Build dynamic, low latency, responsive and real-time user interfaces
• Experience in working with REST based services
• Ability to understand and translate business & technical requirements to a team of developers
• Experience with application monitoring
• Expert with TypeScript
• Expert at unit testing / testing frameworks
• Agile SDLC experience
• Experience in Node.js
• Thorough understanding mobile applications and standards
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Ability to gather, understand and translate business & technical requirements
• Experienced in finding solutions for performance and UI limitations of React Native

Education And Experience Qualifications

• Four year degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience developing React Native, or a combination with Android or IOS mobile software applications
• 4+ years of experience developing with leading front end frameworks such as Angular/React/React Native
• 4+ years of experience delivering scalable and resilient applications at large enterprise scale
