Join Us in Bringing Photoshop on the Web to More Creators

At Adobe, we're seeking a dedicated software engineer to play a key role in expanding the capabilities of Photoshop on the web. As part of our team, you'll help bring Photoshop on the Web to more creators by expanding the capabilities of native applications on the web and applying innovative web technologies.

What You'll Do:

* Ensure seamless performance across various devices and browsers, working directly with external partners to improve the WebAssembly ecosystem, allowing us to unlock and improve native Photoshop core functionality the web.
* Collaborate across teams to improve Photoshop on the Web's WebAssembly resource management, and load and runtime performance enabling us reach more creators.
* Participate in technical investigations and prototyping to bring new graphic-intensive and generative workflows to Photoshop on the Web.

What You Need to Succeed:

* Demonstrated ability in creative problem-solving and independent thinking, with strong interpersonal skills to thrive in a collaborative environment.
* 8+ years of experience with C++ development.
* Experience with WebAssembly and Emscripten.
* Familiarity with modern build pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins

Nice to Haves:

* Exposure to Adobe design software, particularly Photoshop.
* Experience with TypeScript or similar typed development contexts, along with an understanding of core web technologies.
* Comfortable working within a primarily web-based environment
* Knowledge of Lean Development or Agile methodologies.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $153,600 -- $286,600 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
