The Worldwide Pricing team is looking for an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer (Sr SDE) to lead a team of highly talented engineers building pricing solutions for Amazon's Selling Partners worldwide.

Our team's mission is to help sellers across the world grow their business by offering customers competitive prices for their entire selection. We build products and systems to:

* Provide sellers with relevant and actionable insights
* Develop scalable tools for pricing optimization
* Build and operate secure, optimized systems that empower selling partners

We are looking for talented senior software development engineers who can deliver world-class solutions. You will solve ambiguous business problems and map them to well-designed technical solutions. You will design, launch, and re-architect multi-tier systems with large amounts of data. You will use object-oriented concepts, algorithms and data structures to build systems at Amazon scale. You will quickly adapt to new environments and use creativity to solve difficult problems in a world-class engineering team.

- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
