Base pay range

$147,958.00/yr - $178,680.00/yr

Job Role and Responsibilities

AMD, through its subsidiary Xilinx, Inc., is hiring Sr. Software Development Engineers to research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for semiconductor operations. Responsibilities include designing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs, developing tools supporting various platforms, participating in ASIC and hardware bring-ups, and applying a data-minded approach for optimization. The role requires knowledge of computer hardware and software, engineering principles, and best practices in system-level software development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• Two (2) years of experience in a related engineering role.
• Skills required include Graphics IP architecture verification, ASIC Design, creation of C models, proficiency in C, C++, or Python, knowledge of GPU architecture, and code optimization.
