Description

Leidos is looking for a Full Stack Software Developer with a current TS-SCI Clearance in Key West, FL or as a remote worker. The program provides sustainment support for mission-critical applications and capabilities. Each system has its own specific requirements and infrastructure. Our effort encompasses system development, updates, and integration, relying on sound data science to aggregate and correlate multiple datasets federated from various computing platforms and frameworks to update a family of systems unique to the environment. This work requires extensive knowledge of common high-level programming languages, web markup, programming languages, and an understanding of low-level languages. Examples of the languages and tools required include, but are not limited to, those listed below. Leadership skills are highly desired.

We are seeking a technical, self-motivated application developer who is versatile and flexible to changing priorities from multiple customers. Candidates must work well in an Agile Scrum environment.

Primary Responsibilities

List of daily duties and/or specific job responsibilities:

• Design, build, test software upgrades and modifications
• Troubleshoot software and system issues within an Agile Scrum team
• Use technical expertise to suggest environment and process upgrades
• Implement updates for COTS and other third-party products

Basic Qualifications:

• BS Degree and 8 years of experience; or 12 years of experience in lieu of degree
• Must currently possess an active Secret clearance for remote work or TS/SCI clearance for onsite work
• Software engineering and development experience with Java, JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, ReactJS, C#, CSS, HTML/XHTML, Loopback
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, SOAP
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with code repositories (e.g., GIT/SVN)
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Experience setting up and working with virtual environments (VBOX, VM, Oracle)
• Experience with Windows, Solaris/Linux OS (scripting, command line)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including use of debuggers

Preferred Qualifications:

• TS/SCI clearance for onsite work
• Experience working with and troubleshooting mission-critical applications in an operational environment
• Experience with AI/ML development
• Experience with SAFe Agile or other Agile software development methodologies
• Experience with Subversion/JIRA
• Experience working in cloud architecture and/or transitioning applications to the cloud
