Overview

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Sr. Software Developer to join our IT Development team!

The Sr. Software Developer ensures efforts are aligned with the Information Technology team to support customer-focused objectives and the IT Vision, a collaborative partner delivering innovative ideas, solutions, and services to simplify people’s lives. The role involves defining, designing, developing, testing, analyzing, and maintaining new and existing applications to meet business requirements, including designing, documenting, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications. The Sr. Software Developer will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle.

The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience working as a Microsoft C# developer in an AWS environment, with a primary focus on AWS technologies and API development using Lambda.

• Define, develop, and document software requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications in collaboration with internal teams.
• Design, develop, document, and implement new applications and enhancements based on business and technical needs.
• Consistently develop and code software programs and applications according to specifications.
• Monitor logs and performance metrics to improve product quality.
• Manage scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS platforms.
• Maintain AWS certifications and pursue continuous improvement with evolving technologies.
• Research emerging software development tools, languages, and standards.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor less experienced developers as needed.
• Participate in on-call duties and occasional travel.

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

• College diploma or university degree in computer science, information systems, or software engineering, with 3+ years of professional programming experience.
• Proven experience as a software developer with a focus on AWS technologies.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.
• Proficiency in C# and the .NET platform is a plus.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Development and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Experience with monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch, ELK stack, Splunk, Prometheus, etc.
• Excellent understanding of coding standards and best practices.
• Familiarity with source control tools like GitHub.
• Expertise in unit testing and behavior-driven testing.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Ability to cooperate respectfully with colleagues.
