Job summary

The Intersect Group is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their core engineering team in Phoenix, delivering scalable, full-stack applications that ingest and analyze real-time IoT data.

You will lead high-impact projects, architect cloud-native solutions on AWS, and mentor teammates while contributing to AI workflows and UI/UX improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional full-stack development with .NET/.NET Core, TypeScript, UX/Usability and Node.js.
• Expert level Fullstack development with an eye for design and UX.
• Proven expertise designing and managing cloud-native solutions within AWS.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI tools or agentic workflows.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB) and Python for automation or data processing.
• Experience with IoT, fleet management systems, or vehicle data analytics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications and high-throughput RESTful APIs using .NET Core, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Architect scalable cloud infrastructure within AWS, leveraging ECS, Lambda, and S3.
• Develop and deploy practical AI solutions, including agentic workflows and automated SDLC tools using Python.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, and system testing to ensure code quality and performance.
• Manage MongoDB database architectures to support high-volume IoT and GPS data ingestion.
• Mentor peer team members and collaborate across product and engineering teams to enhance UI/UX and usability.

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our client's core engineering team to drive the design and architecture of scalable, full-stack applications. In this role, you will lead high-impact projects that ingest and analyze real-time IoT data while helping build next-generation AI workflows. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional pods to turn complex vehicle data into intuitive, high-performance web applications and automated systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications and high-throughput RESTful APIs using .NET Core, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Architect scalable cloud infrastructure within AWS, leveraging services such as ECS, Lambda, and S3.
• Develop and deploy practical AI solutions, including agentic workflows and automated SDLC tools using Python.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, and system testing to ensure code quality and performance.
• Manage MongoDB database architectures to support high-volume IoT and GPS data ingestion.
• Mentor peer team members and collaborate across product and engineering teams to enhance UI/UX and usability.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum 5 years of professional, hands-on full-stack development experience utilizing .NET / .NET Core, TypeScript, UX/Usability and Node.js.
• Expert level Fullstack development with an eye for design and UX.
• Proven expertise designing and managing cloud-native solutions within Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Practical, hands-on experience building and deploying AI tools, agents, or agentic workflows (beyond surface-level familiarity).
• Background working with NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB) and Python for automation or data processing.
• Experience with IoT, fleet management systems, or vehicle data analytics is preferred.
• Strong communication, collaborative problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
