Key job responsibilities

1. Drive key engineering and business decisions impacting Amazon’s long-term vision, including innovations in media delivery and consumption.
2. Leverage cutting-edge technology in client-app frameworks, performance tuning, optimization, and high availability services.
3. Lead the design of new features and initiatives across the organization.

A day in the life

You will lead a team of engineers, participate in product vision, and demonstrate ownership. Collaboration with UX, Engineering, QA, and leadership is essential to deliver top-tier experiences.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming in at least one software language.
• 5+ years of experience in system design or architecture, including reliability and scalability.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 2+ years of Android or Embedded Device experience.
