Job summary

Amazon seeks a Sr. Software Development Engineer for Antenna Calibration in Redmond, WA to collaborate with systems architects, hardware teams and FW/SW designers to bring up and test systems combining FPGA, firmware, RF, and networking.

You will build advanced tools for subsystems testing, data storage, hardware test automation and 2D/3D design automation, with emphasis on phased array bring-up, mentoring teams and leading design decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.

As a Senior Software Engineer for antenna calibration, you will collaborate with systems architects, hardware engineering design teams & FW/SW design teams to bring up and test systems combining FPGA, firmware, RF, and networking functions and build advanced tools for the following:

• Characterizing subsystems and systems related to antennas
• Complex data storage
• Hardware test automation
• Firmware design and implementation
• Application development
• Design automation for 2D and 3D structures
• Develop bring up tools and scripts for phased array systems

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
