Job summary

Insight Global in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Senior SOC Analyst to monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity threats as part of the Security Operations team.

You will leverage SIEM/EDR platforms, drive incident response efforts, and mentor junior analysts in a hands-on SOC environment. Strong experience with SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel) and CrowdStrike is preferred, along with Azure and cloud security awareness.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of cybersecurity experience.

We are seeking a Senior SOC Analyst to join our Security Operations team, responsible for proactively monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity threats across the organization. This individual will serve as a key contributor in strengthening the organization’s security posture by leveraging advanced tools, driving incident response efforts, and mentoring junior analysts.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong experience within a SOC environment, deep familiarity with SIEM/EDR platforms, and the ability to respond to and remediate complex security incidents.

Skills and Requirements

• 4+ years of cybersecurity experience

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with:
• SIEM tools (Microsoft Sentinel preferred)
• EDR platforms (CrowdStrike strongly preferred)
• Incident response and threat detection workflows
• IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint security technologies [Onboarding...Derderian | Teams]
• Strong understanding of network protocols, system logs, and security event analysis
• Familiarity with cloud security (Azure preferred) and log aggregation tools
• Experience working in a high-volume SOC environment
• Exposure to SOAR or automation tools
• Experience developing or tuning detection use cases
