Job Overview

This role requires a Snowflake Data Engineer with over 7 years of IT experience, specializing in design, data modeling, development, and performance tuning. The candidate will focus on building cloud-based data warehouse solutions for F2B clients.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test end-to-end data pipelines, including data ingestion (streaming, events, batch), integration, and curation.
• Develop and deploy scalable data pipelines and ETL processes on cloud infrastructure using Azure, Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, Cosmos DB.
• Automate jobs and testing processes.
• Optimize data pipelines for various workloads and use cases.
• Support mission-critical applications and near real-time data needs.
• Address data and environment issues, perform impact, root cause analysis, and maintenance.
• Implement data models, transformations, and schema designs for analytics and reporting.
• Tune Snowflake performance, including query optimization and resource management.

Onsite Requirement: Primarily in-office with some flexible work options.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture and cloud computing.
• Knowledge of API/Event-Driven Architecture and development.
• Troubleshooting DevOps pipelines and Azure services.
• Experience with DBT, Apache Airflow, Snowflake utilities (SnowSQL, Snowpipe, Snowlight).
• Advanced Snowflake features: resource monitors, RBAC, virtual warehouses, query tuning, zero-copy clone, time travel.
• Handling semi-structured data (JSON, XML) in Snowflake.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer/IT-related field.
• 10+ years in database and data warehouse development.
• Experience with SQL, stored procedures in relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server.
• 8+ years in Snowflake development and cloud services including Azure, Kubernetes, Docker.
