Job summary

e-STORAGE is seeking a Sr. Service Technician to commission and maintain SolBank Storage Power Block (SPB) systems across US project sites.

The role requires travel over 50% and hands-on preventative and corrective maintenance experience in energy storage or renewable power equipment. Ideal candidates have OSHA 30 certification, inverter/SCADA knowledge, and the ability to manage subcontractors while upholding stringent safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant service experience, preferably in renewable energy.
• OSHA 30 certified; OSHA 10 accepted if obtained soon after hire.
• Experience with inverters and energy storage systems.
• SCADA experience beneficial.
• Knowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems, and Energy Storage system applications.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with CMMS software.
• Clean driving record; valid driver's license.
• First Aid trained.
• Ability to travel regionally; strong teamwork and safety commitment.

Responsibilities

• Commission CSI Energy Storage’s SolBank Storage Power Block.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on SPBs.
• Manage LTSA obligations for BESS equipment.
• Onsite diagnostic, troubleshooting, and hands-on support.
• Oversee sub-contractors on site when required.
• Assist in developing standard operating procedures and processes.
• Complete work order documentation in a timely manner.
• Ensure accuracy of spare parts inventory.
• Perform Lockout/Tagout procedures as needed.
• Support client training during commissioning.
• Adhere to safety rules and policies.
• Travel to regional locations as needed (>50%).

In this role, you’ll play an integral part of the service team, primarily responsible for commissioning and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on SolBank Storage Power Block (SPB). This role also involves fulfilling obligations under Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA’s) for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The successful candidate must be willing to travel and perform tasks at various project sites throughout the US. Experience with BESS or renewable power generation equipment in a service environment is required.Whilst you’re working in field services, your work will directly impact our mission to create a cleaner, brighter future.
