Genesis10 is currently seeking a Sr. Service Delivery Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee large-scale enterprise projects and cross-departmental teams with $5 million plus budgets.
- Partner with leadership and peer teams to drive process improvements, socialization, and timely action to support mitigation of existing process gaps.
- Drive collaboration with teammates across organizations and with the management team to identify opportunities to improve processes and controls across technology for issue management.
- Oversee and govern software products/applications to ensure compliance with work tasks and escalate as needed.
- Manage end-to-end vendor-driven change management processes.
- Conduct frequent escalation communications, reporting, and outlier meetings, which may include executive leadership.
- Maintain progress milestones.
- Drive timely decisions, knowing when to engage others for additional input and when to act independently.
- Communicate complex technical subject matter into clear, concise language suitable for various audiences.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to summarize technical issues in business terms.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple groups and socialize across a matrix organization.
- Documentation and project management skills.
- Self-starter, follow-through, willing to engage with senior resources.
- Ability to update/manage procedures and produce executive-ready documentation and overviews.
- Proven time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates accountability and ownership.
- Strong collaboration and partnering skills to positively influence and motivate others.
- Ability to analyze data from multiple sources, draw conclusions, and provide recommendations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple, often competing priorities in a global environment, with successful execution of routines, projects, and programs.
- Knowledge of Jira and Excel.
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (PMP, Agile, Scaled Agile).
- Understanding of the lifecycle of technical project delivery, including software development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Experience managing large, multi-year, complex technology projects involving multiple teams and vendors.
